Calgary

Arrive in Calgary, where your adventure begins. Upon arrival, check in to the elegant Fairmont Palliser and settle into a luxurious Fairmont Gold room. Day 2

Calgary

Enjoy a leisurely start to your first day and take in a few of the sights of Calgary.

You will then make your way to the Alberta Boot Company, where we have arranged a private tour of this fascinating place. Here they make boots for the Canadian Mounties. There is a wonderful selection of boots for you to try on and you might just choose to have a pair custom made and shipped back home. A special gift box will be waiting for you at this unique venue!

Day 3

Lake Louise

Transfer to the beautiful Lake Louise and enjoy a night at the fantastic Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise in a lakeview room. Offering stunning views of Lake Louise, this is the perfect space to unwind in luxury. Enjoy a cocktail and experience the new Basin Spa. Described as a “contemporary interpretation of a traditional bathhouse”, BASIN Glacial Waters is the first of its kind in Banff National Park. Lake Louise – Rocky Mountaineer Rail Journey

Board the Rocky Mountaineer for a once-in-a-lifetime journey through the Canadian Rockies in GoldLeaf service. Our friends at Rocky Mountaineer have arranged especially for our VIP Canadian Sky guests, a private meeting with the train driver to enjoy train tales and experiences, to and enjoy a unique photo opportunity. Then settle into your seat and take in stunning views of the surrounding landscapes on this magnificent train journey, enjoying gourmet meals prepared by Executive Chefs in the dedicated dining car.

Day 5

Rocky Mountaineer Rail Journey - Jasper

Continue your journey on the Rocky Mountaineer today, venturing to Jasper. As the train winds its way through the dramatic landscapes of the Canadian Rockies, sit back in luxury and enjoy panoramic views. Arrive in Jasper for a three night stay at the very special Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge. Enjoy an evening stroll by the lake and dinner in one of the hotels restaurants.

Days 6 & 7

Jasper

Two days to explore the spectacular Jasper National Park, and enjoy the comfort and extensive grounds of Jasper Park Lodge. Especially for Canadian Sky guests on this holiday our friends at Fairmont have arranged an Indigenous Plant Walk. Explore the surroundings on a guided plant walk led by an Indigenous storyteller, and learn about the medicinal and culinary uses of native plants whilst hearing captivating tales that connect you to the land's history and traditions.

During you time in Jasper you can choose a beautiful cruise on Maligne Lake around Spirit Island or take a wildlife tour. You could also enjoy a foodie tour around the townsite. The adventurous can book onto a Harley Davidson guided tour of the national park - a unique way to see the stunning landscapes.

One evening you can enjoy time stargazing with the largest telescope in the Rockies. This is an incredible experience, offering a rare opportunity to witness the brilliance of the night sky in one of the world’s largest dark sky preserves. With guidance from expert astronomers, you’ll explore distant galaxies and sparkling star clusters.

Day 8

Icefields Parkway – Banff, Alberta

Set out on a one-way journey along the breathtaking backbone of the Rockies, encountering sweeping glaciers, towering waterfalls and beautiful mountain lakes.

Your final stop is the iconic Banff Springs Hotel, known as the "Castle in the Rockies." As you travel the Icefields Parkway, an expert guide will enrich your experience with captivating stories and insights into the area's rich geological and historical heritage.

Along the way, you'll visit some of the region's most remarkable landmarks, including Athabasca Falls, the Weeping Wall, Bow Lake, the Crowfoot Glacier and the legendary Lake Louise.

One of the highlights of your adventure awaits at the Columbia Icefield, where you’ll step onto the Athabasca Glacier for the unforgettable "Tread Lightly" glacier ice walk. Banff, Alberta

Today experience a helicopter tour over the Continental Divide - the ultimate birds-eye view the Rockies. Enjoy the spectacular sight of the Sundance and Goat Mountain ranges, with alpine meadows and pristine lakes hidden below.

Back in the Banff Springs Hotel, we have arranged an exclusive cocktail making class in the Rundle Bar when their talented bartenders will teach you their tips and tricks for making exquisite cocktails.

Banff, Alberta

Explore more of the area today with a ride up the Banff Gondola for stunning views of the mountains, where panoramic views stretch as far as the eye can see and boardwalks lead you to scenic viewpoints, then cruise on the turquoise waters of Lake Minnewanka.
