Day 1
Arrive in Calgary
Arriving in Canada you’ll transfer to your hotel which is located right at the centre of Calgary. You’ll then have the afternoon free to relax or explore the city. At 6pm you’ll have a welcome meeting with your tour guide where you’ll get to meet your group and go over the details of the amazing journey that awaits you.

Day 2
Calgary – Lake Louise – Jasper
Today you’ll begin the tour, heading northwards into the stunningly beautiful Canadian Rockies. The first stop with be the breathtaking Lake Louse – often referred to as the Jewel of the Canadian Rockies. Enjoy the pretty views (and make sure you take plenty of photos) before heading onwards on the Icefields Parkway, looking out over towering mountains and impressive glaciers. Catch a glimpse of the wildlife including moose, elk and mountain goats – with a bit of luck you might see a grizzly or black bear. Finally you’ll reach the pretty town of Jasper where you’ll spend the night.

Day 3
Jasper National Park
Enjoy a morning at leisure in Jasper or join an optional Jasper Float Trip. Savor a Be My Guest lunch at Maligne Lake Chalet, then uncover local stories and secrets with Jasper Theatre Productions. Explore Maligne Lake’s aqua waters (seasonal), taking in views of glaciers and Spirit Island, named by the Stoney Nation for its ancestral significance. Later, admire dramatic scenery on a guided walk.
Note: Maligne Canyon remains closed following 2024 wildfire damage; assessments are ongoing for future reopening.

Day 4
Jasper – Athabasca Glacier – Banff
Begin your adventure with a ride onto the Athabasca Glacier aboard an all-terrain Ice Explorer, a specially designed vehicle for glacier travel. Your expert driver-guide will share fascinating insights about glaciers and their environmental significance. Pause to taste ice-cold glacier water while taking in the breathtaking snowcapped panoramas. Continue your journey to Banff village, stopping along the way at the stunning Bow Lake for scenic views and photo opportunities, immersing yourself in the majestic beauty of the Canadian Rockies.

Day 5
Banff
Meet a real Canadian hockey player in Canmore and dive into the nation’s favorite sport. Learn the secrets, superstitions, and daily routines of players as a professional coach guides you through a hands-on experience. Step inside the locker room, suit up in full hockey gear, and take to the ice to test your skills and score your first goal. For a different perspective, choose an optional helicopter flight over the Rockies or ride the Banff Gondola to Sulphur Mountain for sweeping mountain views.

Day 6
Banff – Yoho National Park – Banff
Join your Travel Director for an optional morning excursion to Yoho National Park and Moraine Lake (seasonal) in the Valley of Ten Peaks. Cross the continental divide at Kicking Horse Pass and admire the Spiral Tunnels, a remarkable early-1900s railway feat. In the evening, enjoy a MAKE TRAVEL MATTER® Experience with a Cree Guide, learning about the sacred connection between people and buffalo. End the day with dinner and a toast alongside your fellow travellers, celebrating the Rockies’ breathtaking landscapes and shared experiences.

Day 7
Banff – Calgary
Today you head down from the Canadian Rockies and transfer back to Calgary International Airport to catch your flight home.
Last day transfer will arrive at the airport at 11:30am, please be aware when booking your flights that the departure flight should be no earlier than 2:30pm
