Day 1
Halifax
Arrive in Halifax and check-in at the hotel. Explore the city’s rich maritime history before meeting with your tour guide and group at the hotel for a welcome reception.

Day 2
Halifax
Begin today with a guided visit to the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic, immersing yourself in the fascinating maritime heritage of Nova Scotia. From here, join a local specialist for a tour of this port city were you’ll travel to a local cemetery, where many of the Titanic victims were laid to rest, before touring the Halifax Public Gardens and harbour front. End your tour at the enormous Halifax Citadel where the rest of the day is yours to spend at leisure.

Day 3
Halifax – Baddeck
Learn about the traditions of the Mi'Kmaq people with a visit to Millbrook Cultral and Heritage Centre. This evening, enjoy a local tradition, a Celtic Evening of Smiles, which will include dinner and an entertaining musical theatrical production.

Day 4
Baddeck
Dramatic highland screnery and coastal views form your backdrop today - be sure to have your camera ready as you drive along the Gulf of S Lawrence in search fo whales. Keep your eyes our for the majestic bald eagles and moose as you wind along the spectacular Cabot Trail. The rest of the day can be spent exploring at your own pace or utilising the hotel's facilities.

Day 5
Baddeck – Wood Islands Ferry – Charlottetown
Make your way through the beautiful scenery of Nova Scotia, from the sprawling countryside to the rocky headlands, to reach the harbour of Pictou. Cross the Northumberland Strait to Prince Edward Island and Charlottetown. In the evening, drive to one of Canada’s most charming villages where you’ll spent the evening learning the secrets of PEI Preserve Company’s delicious fruit preserves, sauces, honey and maple syrup. You’ll dine here for dinner, experience local cuisine and warm Prince Edward hospitality.

Day 6
Charlottetown
Today a local expert will lead your visit to the Prince Edward Island National Park where you will experience the scenic coastal beauty including pristine beaches, red sandstone cliffs, and lighthouses. You will visit the world renowned National Historic site of Green Gables, one of the most notable literary landmarks in Canada and the setting for the popular Anne of Green Gables novels by Lucy Maud Montgomery. This evening you'll have free time to explore the historic Charlottetown waterfront at your leisure.

Day 7
Charlottetown – Shediac Bay – Hopewell Rocks – Saint John
Cross back over the Northumberland Strait via the Confederation Bridge to arrive in New Brunswick and Shediac Bay. You’ll meet with a local specialist here who will teach you about lobstering; you’ll then enjoy a delicious local meal of fresh lobster served aboard the boat (weather permitting). From here, join another local expert who will take you on a tour of Hopewell Rocks in the Bay of Fundy, site of the highest tides in the world.

Day 8
Saint John – Digby – Lunenburg
Take a ferry this morning across the Bay of Fundy to Digby, where you’ll continue on to the beautiful Annapolis Valley, originally inhabited by a strong Mi’kmaq community that became home to some of North America’s earliest European settlers in 1605. Make your way to the south coast of Nova Scotia to reach Lunenburg, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, stopping en route fro a wine tasting tour at a LaHave River Valley.

Day 9
Lunenburg
In the morning, join a local specialist for an in-depth tour of Lunenburg where you’ll learn more about the area’s rich heritage and culture, including the architecture, some of which dates back to the 18th century. There will be a visit to the Fisheries Museum of the Atlantic and explore the decks of the Tall ships.
In the evening, join your group for a farewell dinner at the hote with your new found friends.

Day 10
Lunenburg – Peggy’s Cove – Halifax
Visit Peggy’s Cove this morning on St. Margaret’s Bay, an area that’s popular with painters and photographers, before leaving Halifax for the airport where your trip comes to an end.
