Weddings at Two Jack Lake

Weddings from €1,639

Overview

If you’re in search of a truly peaceful, intimate and beautiful wedding in Banff, Two Jack Lake is one of the most spectacular lakes around; tucked into the majestic mountain scenery, you’ll exchange rings beside an unforgettable landscape of clear, emerald sparkling waters which blend into luscious, seemingly endless pine forests.

Situated on the Lake Minnewanka Loop, this smaller lake is lesser known than some other lakes, so it’s less touristy, more peaceful and equally as beautiful; it will feel as if you’ve got the entire setting to yourselves, making it a very special venue to hold your nuptials. Two Jack Lake is extraordinarily charming and romantic, and as it is such a vast landscape, there are a number of awe-inspiring locations in which you can choose to marry. Our favourite is the intimate spot nestled at the very end of the peninsular, boasting a very serene feel and magnificent views in every direction.

You’ll also have the choice of three spectacular wedding packages, starting with our Classic Wedding which features a personal wedding coordinator, a bridal bouquet, grooms buttonhole, sparkling wine for the newlyweds and transfers, in addition to all the legal work and a marriage officiate so you don’t need to worry about a thing. If you upgrade to our Premier package, you’ll also be treated to a beautiful, hand-made wedding cake and a professional photographer to capture the utter beauty of this Banff setting. We think that the Luxury Wedding package creates a very magical and special celebration, including a bridal hair & makeup appointment, a wonderful seasonal tour of this breath-taking region and champagne for the newlyweds to enjoy back at the hotel.

There is a walk to the ceremony location which is not paved and may be uneven (and have gopher holes).  The location accommodates a maximum of 20 people.

ON ARRIVAL

Couples must obtain wedding licence in Banff – even if staying in Lake Louise.  Licence cost IS included & accompanied.  Cost of transfer from Lake Louise to Banff is NOT included.  Licence office is open Monday – Friday.

We suggest having two pair of shoes one outdoor pair (these can be white fur boots or any type of show that are easy to walk on snow) and an indoor pair which can be worn for photographs, ceremony, reception etc.  We suggest bringing a fur cape or wrap if you are planning to do an outdoor ceremony or photographs outdoors. Alternatively you can wear a winter coat and remove it for the ceremony or photographs. We also suggest bringing some gloves.  During all seasons mountain weather is known for it's unpredictability we always suggest checking the weather forecast prior to arrival to check the current weather trends so your guests can dress accordingly

Additional Information

Legally you could get married the same day as you arrive! However, we recommend you have a couple of days to get used to any time change and orient yourselves. We will send you the necessary forms before you arrive in town and submit them to the Bureau for you. We will set up an appointment to take you to get your licence when you arrive.
