Day 1

Overnight: Murray Premises Hotel or similar

Day 2

St. John’s

Visit Cape Spear Lighthouse National Historic Site, the most easterly point in North America, where you may spot whales amongst the ocean swells and visit the oldest standing lighthouse in Newfoundland and Labrador. Signal Hill National Historic Site is just one of the attractions you will see, as well as Quidi Vidi Village, Government House, and the Roman Catholic Basilica Cathedral of St. John the Baptist.

The hiking trails that criss-cross the low hills around the city offer an opportunity to enjoy beautiful views, peace and tranquillity. It takes just a few minutes to leave the downtown behind and pick up one of the well-marked paths.

Day 3

St. John’s

Today embark on a wonderful cruise from St. John’s harbour in search of icebergs and whales on a true Newfoundland and Labrador adventure. Travel through “The Narrows” and past Cabot Tower enroute to the pristine waters of Cape Spear that are home to the world’s largest concentration of humpback whales. Early in the season (May to July), look for icebergs and watch as Atlantic puffins frolic along the coastline.
