Premium Polar Bear Adventure

Mixed Board Basis 5 nights from €8,999 per person Including Flights

Overview

Observing magnificent polar bears in the vast, rugged Artic is an incredible experience, and this five or six-night, small group escorted tour offers an exclusive insight into their natural habitat. Starting and ending in Winnipeg, board a private chartered plane to Churchill where you’ll embark on unforgettable tundra excursions.

Whether you stay for six days or seven, you’ll be treated to incredible trips through the Churchill Wildlife Management Area. While most tour groups can only go halfway to the prime viewing area, Natural Habitat Adventures has exclusive permits to access the whole area, so you’re guaranteed some of the best views of the epic landscapes and wildlife. The tours are also on-board Polar Rovers, a technically advanced vehicle with large windows and a see-through steel viewing deck so you can safely see the polar bears up close.

As well as seeing the polar bears, you’ll get the chance to enjoy even more special activities, including a night time tundra excursion where you’ll potentially see the northern lights, and a dog-sledding journey through a boreal forest. (NHA)

The Expedition Leaders know the best places to see these magnificent creatures, and the steel viewing deck on the back of the vehicles allow you to safely see them up close. As you watch the polar bears wander and interact, the Leaders will explain their behaviour and how the survive in their rugged habitat.

Both evenings, you’ll get together for dinner and presentations on the local cultures and wildlife.
