Day 1
Fly to Vancouver
Arrive at Vancouver International Airport and transfer independently to your centrally-located hotel. After a check-in with your Tour Manager, the remainder of the day is free.

Day 2
Vancouver
After breakfast set out on a morning sightseeing tour of Vancouver. Highlights include Stanley Park, English Bay, Gastown, Chinatown and the Capilano Suspension Bridge. Enjoy a free afternoon to either see more of the city or simply relax.

Day 3
Vancouver to Victoria
Leave Vancouver and cross the Strait of Georgia by ferry to Victoria. Begin with a visit to beautiful Butchart Gardens, one of the world’s great floral displays. Then you will embark on a fantastic whale watching and marine wildlife boat trip. Later in the afternoon you could take an optional floatplane sightseeing tour (book directly with your Tour Manager)

Day 4
Victoria to Campbell River
Today travel up the coast of Vancouver Island, and step back in time with visits to Chemanius with its spectacular native murals and the town of Duncan. Arrive in the small coastal town of Campbell River in the afternoon.

Day 5
Campbell River to Port Hardy
Continue to travel north through the province of British Columbia, to the pleasant seaside town of Port Hardy. You’ll have time to explore this resort at leisure later in the afternoon

Day 6
Inside Passage Cruise Port Hardy to Prince Rupert
This morning board a BC Ferries ship to set sail on an incredible full-day cruise along the coast of British Columbia to the inlet community of Prince Rupert. The famous Inside Passage is one of the most spectacular waterways in Canada, with plunging cliffs of the rugged shoreline of the Pacific Northwest.

Day 7
Prince Rupert to Smithers
Today travel into the British Columbia interior eastward along the scenic Yellowhead Highway as it follows the Skeena River Valley. Along the way you’ll stop for a tour of ‘Ksan Historical Village – a recreation of an ancient traditional community of the Gitxan First Nation Peoples. The remainder of the day is at leisure.

Day 8
Smithers to Prince George
This morning you’ll continue east, travelling the Yellowhead Highway, through some of Canada’s most forested and rugged terrains. Enjoy a visit to Fort St James National Historic Park to relive the days of the fur trade. In the afternoon arrive at Prince George, located at the tip of British Columbia’s Cariboo Region.

Day 9
Prince George to Jasper National Park
Ascent the highest pass in the Rockies as you travel towards the Alberta provincial border and stop at the Mount Robson viewpoint. You have the option of taking a raft trip with an experienced guide on the Athabasca River.

Day 10
Jasper to Banff National Park
The journey this morning may be the highlight of your holiday, as you travel south on the famous Icefields Parkway through a rugged wilderness flanked by dramatic mountain ranges. At the Columbia Icefield you will board the specially designed Ice Explorer vehicle to ride the Athabasca Glacier. Then see the dramatic scenery of iconic Lake Louise, before arriving in the charming mountain town of Banff.

Day 11
Banff National Park
Enjoy a tour of Banff and the national park. There is an optional helicopter sightseeing tour, where you will have a birds-eye view of the eastern ranges of the Rocky Mountains. You may also take an optional gondola ride up spectacular Sulphur Mountain. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure relaxing in the lovely town of Banff.

Day 12
Banff to Vernon
Head back westbound, first passing through the narrow Kicking Horse Canyon, then over the heights of Rogers Pass. At Craiggellachie, view the monument marking the spot where the famous “Last Spike” was driven into place in 1885 linking Canada by rail from sea to sea. Continue into the bountiful Okanagan Valley, famous for its fruit trees and vineyards, and to Vernon for your overnight stay.

Day 13
Vernon to Vancouver
After breakfast we continue our journey through the lush Okanagan Valley, making a brief stop at scenic Kalamalka Lake before continuing on across the maritime plain set against majestic mountain vistas. Descend to the coast and to the sparking lights of Vancouver. This evening there will be an optional “Farewell Dinner” featuring a cruise through the waters of Vancouver Harbour and a west coast themed buffet dinner.

Day 14
End of tour
Time for a spot of last minute shopping before transferring independently to the airport for your flight home.
