See the best of eastern Canada on this ten-day tour, starting in cosmopolitan Toronto and taking in the Niagara Falls before stopping at the former capital Kingston. Visit the fascinating French-speaking city of Montreal and stay in luxury by the St Lawrence River on the way to historic Quebec City. There will also be time to take in the stately Canadian capital Ottawa.
Tour Itinerary
- Day 1 - Toronto
- You arrive in Canada's largest city, Toronto, and take use your complimentary transfer to your downtown hotel for a two-night stay. Meet your Tour Director and join your fellow travelers at an early evening Welcome Reception.
- Hotel: Sheraton Centre Toronto
- Day 2 - Niagara Falls
- A day trip from Toronto takes you along the banks of Lake Ontario to the roaring Niagara Falls, where you can see this incredible sight up close on the Maid of the Mist cruise ship. We drive down along the Niagara Peninsula, following the river's course to Niagara-on-the-Lake, then back to Toronto for an excellent dinner at your hotel.

- Day 3 - Toronto - Kingston
- We join a morning city tour which will take in Toronto's main sights before heading northwards into the Ontario countryside towards Kingston, the historic first capital of Canada with its UNESCO-protected old fort. Your evening is free, or you can join an optional 1,000 Islands dinner cruise.

- Day 4 - Kingston - Upper Canada Village - Montreal
- We take a trip to Upper Canada Village to see what life was like in the 1860s and then move on to Quebec for a stay in Montreal, one of the largest Francophone cities in the world. A local guide will take you around the most interesting sights in Old Montreal, the Old Port, the modern downtown area as well as to the top of Mount Royal for wonderful city views.

- Day 5 - Montreal - Charlevoix region
- We follow the course of the St Lawrence River to arrive at the splendid Fairmont Le Manoir Richelieu in Charlevoix. This grand historic hotel exudes style and provides first-rate service. After dining in one of the hotel's excellent restaurants, try your luck at the world-class onsite Casino de Charlevoix.

- Day 6 - Charlevoix region
- Explore the Charlevoix region with its quaint small towns and villages, whale watching on the St Lawrence and much more. For those that prefer to relax, the hotel itself has an excellent golf course, tennis, indoor and outdoor pools and a luxury spa centre.
- Hotel: Fairmont Le Manoir Richelieu
- Day 7- Charlevoix region - Baie-St-Paul - Quebec City
- From Charlevoix we set off for Quebec City, stopping on the way at the village of Baie-St-Paul, featuring picturesque streets lined with art galleries, fashionable boutiques and elegant homes. There will also be time to see the Basilica of Ste-Anne-de-Beaupre, one of North America's most visited pilgrimage sites, before you stop at Montmorency Falls, which thunder from a height of 84 meters - higher even than Niagara. We arrive in Quebec City later for a two-night stay.

- Day 8 - Quebec City
- Starting with a guided tour of the city, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, that takes in the Plains of Abraham and the Old Town, you can soak up this French-speaking city's ambience. In the afternoon there will be time to explore its narrow streets on your own, maybe sip a coffee at one of its many pavement cafes and later dine at a fine French restaurant.

- Day 9 - Quebec City - Ottawa
- We return to Ontario to stop at the nation's capital, Ottawa, a compact and charming city, taking a city orientation tour to view Rideau Hall, the Rideau Canal, the majestic Parliament buildings, the Governor General's residence and other top sights. In the evening join your travelling companions at a Farewell Dinner.

- Day 10 - Ottawa - Toronto
- Drive on from Ottawa to the airport in Toronto or to a downtown hotel for those wishing to extend their stay in Canada.
